The halflings native to metzev differentiate themselves from normal halflings as they are adept athletes and tend to have a competitive spirit. This arises from yhese halflings never realy having physically stronger races protecting them so they adapted stronger bodies. A metzevian halfling is likely to be barbarians, fighters, and monks.
