Nekhrebu is a widely hated ruler throughout the world because of his persecution of old god worshippers. He has added to this hate by siding with Alinium and has been trying to remove non-humans from his nation. He has survived three assassination attempts, one of which was even carried out by the white masks. He is an extremely hypocritical man who denounces magic but praises his court mages.
