Vys'sora Lassaver

Vys was a Gold Dragon born and raised on Mount Celestia, in the court of the Platinum Dragon Bahamut. Young Vys was curious of the peoples he was to be protecting, and took a great interest in elven magic from afar. After he reached adulthood, and was granted access to travel between worlds freely, Vys took position as a guardian of the Gostatian Elves, and in secret, started studying magic and herbalism. Life among the Gostatians was peaceful for the young Dragon, and he could study magic in peace for a few centuries. This would change when a band of coastal raiders lead by a demon attacked. Vys did battle with the fiend - Zeg'Dramon was the demon's name- and bested it. word of the deed eventually reached bahamut, who decided that young Vys would be the next seventh wing after Rovranyr Warmheart's passing.
bidding farewell to the gostatians, Vys took the mantle of the seventh wing and returned to the halls of the Dragonfather. In times of peace Vys had many trips to the primaterial plane, meeting many peoples and studying many spells and secrets. These secrets would cost him dearly. While staying in the great city of Sunhill, Vys started picking up on threads of conspiracy. Someone was pushing two of the great houses towards war. Following this thread, Vys encountered an avatar of the ancient evil from the Great Strife. The dragon mage was bested and lethally wounded, now unable to stay in his true form for more than a minute or so. Vys took the face and name of his Gostatian teacher, Eberen Lassaver and hid among the mortals as the war of blessed blades happened.
Despite the wings being high-ranking beings in the hierarchy of the platinum order, they were given the freedom to not take part in the war, a freedom Vys was more than glad to use. During the undead assault that swept the land soon after the war ended, Vys trusted that his insights into the Avatar would be critical in beating the villain, so he once again embarked on a journey to defeat it. He would gain the unlikely allies Arakis Ensei, Last of the Enseis, Kami En-Kor, a paladin of Bahamut and Zira, the smokefolk rogue. With the help of these allies, Vys, now Vys'sora, managed to defeat the avatar, following the disbandment of the party, Vys'sora started up a small shop for herbalistic goods and services, while acting as a sort of "Fairy godfather" for the Ensei line.
Vys'sora took the young Hideakis Ensei when the tiefling lost his mother to illness in 14 BDF. Vys'sora taught the child to harness the power of his family while keeping him hidden from enemies of the Enseis. in the years approaching The DragonFall, Vys'sora would house a total of 5 people in the small quarters behind his shop. These individuals would in time stop Kaus's Rebellion and Vys'sora's adoptive son Hideakis would even become the final Tananduru Champion. During the time of the Tananduru, Vys'sora noticed an increase in fiendish activity in Sunhill. Once again on the trail of a great evil, Vys'sora discovered that his old enemy, Zeg'Dramon had entered the city. The demon had raised a grand army of demons to raze the shining capital to the ground. Vys'sora alerted his wards, who all took action against the demonic horde, but were felled by the ravenous raiders. Vys'sora employed the full talent of his magic in defense of the escaping populus, holding a hundred-headed horde by himself. The fiendish host was too vast for the mage, and when Vys'sora had spent his spellcraft, in a bout of desperation not felt in 600 years, he turned back into his true golden draconic form.
In the end, the city fell and Vys'sora died of exhaustion. Or so it is said, since no demon present claimed the kill against the draconic champion. Some think the demons say nothing of it due to respect toward the great foe, but everyone knows it's out of fear of what Bahamut would do if he knew who killed his youngest son.
