Arkham Bus Line

Compared to the train, the bus ride is slower, bumpier, and, in the winter or rainy months, occasionally hazardous, but the bus can stop almost anywhere.
Salem/Boston: Mon-Sat, except holidays. The fare to Boston is $1.45, to Salem 35 cents. The coach leaves Arkham at 7:15 and 9:30 A.M., and 12:30, 4:30, and 7:30 P.M. The bus arrives in Salem 15 minutes later, stops for five minutes, and then continues on to Boston. It arrives in Boston at 8:30 and 10:45 A.M., and 1L45, 5:45, and 8:45 P.M. From Boston, daily departures for Salem and Arkham occur at 9:00 and 11:45 A.M., and at 2:15, 6:15, and 9:15 P.M.
Kingsport: Mon-Sat, except holidays. Fare is 25 cents one-way. It departs Arkham at 9:15 A.M. and 12:15, 3:15, and 7:55 P.M. The trip takes 20 minutes. Departures from Kingsport occur at 9:55 A.M., and at 12:55, 3:55, and 7:55 P.M.
Dean's Corners/Aylesbury: Mon, Wed, and Fri only, no holiday schedules. Dean's Corners costs $3.50 and Aylesbury $3.75. Departs Arkham at 10:30 A.M., arriving in Dean's Corners at 1:15 P.M. After a five-minute stopover, it arrives in Aylesbury at 1:45 P.M. The return trip to Arkham begins at 2:00 P.M., reaches Dean's Corners 2:30 P.M., and returns to Arkham at 5:15 P.M.
Ipswitch/Newburyport: Mon-Fri, except holidays. Buses leave Arkham at 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. Ipswitch costs 75 cents and Newburyport costs 95 cents. Buses leave Ipswitch at 10:45 A.M. and 2:15 P.M., wait 15 minutes, and then arrive in Newburyport at 11:25 A.M. and 3:25 P.M. Return trips to Arkham depart Newburyport at noon and 4:00 P.M., stopping at Ipswitch at 12:55 and 4:55 P.M., and reach Arkham at 1:25 and 5:25 P.M.
