Al-Azif: Ye Book of Ye Arab

This manuscript, hand written in crabbed provincial English and bound in human skin, consists of a partial translation of the Necronomicon along with commentary by the anonymous author. This version is highly abridged, some three hundred pages long. The full compliment of spells from the Latin version is present, though many are heavily abbreviated and may be flawed. This text may have been the work of Richard Billington. The copy that was given to the Orne Library was part of the Dewart Bequest, and shows frequent annotations in the hand of Alijah Billington. (Johnson, Sam, and Sandy Antunes.
