Tome of Infinite Wisdom

This article is depicting a potential future of this world. Some events in here might not have happened yet and will be changed by the actions of the players involved in this world. Until these campaigns have concluded, this article will exist in a superposition between existance and non-existance.   Some version of this article will survive, but who knows what it will be when all of this is over

I've spent years studying the records of this ancient artefact, but still it's unclear to me how extensive its abilities were. It seems like the tome contains a lot of knowledge and answers to many questions. Great leaders turned to it for advice and wisdom. In a way, it seemed like it is a perfect record of history, with all its secrets and lost knowledge. But it also seems like it depends a lot on the reader. Some leaders of Kamorda could extract vast amounts of knowledge, while others only got a glimpse of the answer they were looking for.
Vyetar Mizga
The Tome of Infinite Wisdom is an ancient artefact stolen by Lornan from Elmos during the Dawnera. Lornan gifted the Tome to the Elves of Boradrin who used it to defend themselves during this war. Later, when the People of Boradrin and the Empire of Roxtoi founded Kamorda together, the tome was given to the new city.

History & Significance

During the Dawnera, countless gods were born. Quickly they realized that not all of them can survive and they tried to convert each other's followers. One of these attempts was done by Lornan who stole the tome from Elmos and gifted it to the People of Boradrin in return for their eternal faith.   The Boradrinians used the Tome to great effect, transforming the area in the southern Golden Coast into a lush fertile paradise. They created great cities and settlements, and became one of the greatest civilisations of the time. They explored and traveled the world, bringing trinkets and knowledge back to their homeland.   The knowledge contained within the Tome protected the Boradrinians from the worst destruction of the War for Dawn. During the Sundering, Boradrin was thrown into the newly created Feywild and then used the Tome to bring most of their civilisation back to the material realm.
Age of Arcanum
In the centuries following the War for Dawn, the Elves of Boradrin regularly came into conflict with the Empire of Roxtoi toward their north. They fought many bloody wars over centuries, until they finally agreed to a truce, and later even to a permanent peace treaty.
Crest of Kamorda by AP.
On the ██████████ Elyon Ventre, and Vobric Greybeard met near the source of the Avoratt and signed the Peace of the Avoratt. This treaty created an independent city at the location where it was signed - a place for both people to come together, and find protection and prosperity. This city was named Kamorda, the City of the Skies. To seal the treaty, each culture brought an ancient artefact and gifted it to the new city. The Empire of Roxtoi gifted the Maul of Flowing Rock, while the Elves brought the Tome of Infinite Wisdom to Kamorda.   The collaboration between the two people spawned wealth and prosperity for the young city, and it quickly became the most influential city within the region. To this day, Kamorda displays the Tome and Maul within their crests. Still, within both empires, groups still existed opposing the peace and the collaboration. So one night, on the ██████████, a group of protestors broke into the Likogrum and tried to steal the two artefacts.   The attack should have been successful. The attackers easily overwhelmed the defenders of the Likogrum and entered the central chambers holding the ancient artefacts. It's unknown what happened next, but when the sun rose the next morning, every single living creature within the Likogrum - defenders and attackers alike - was slaughtered. The Mace and Tome were gone and haven't been resurfaced until today.

Oooo, a mystery. I wonder if the tome will ever appear again - and what would happen if it does. D:

Thank you! Maybe at some point in the future one of my groups will go on a quest to recover this ancient artefact. Would be fun to see how it changes the world.
