Franz Kristler

General Info

• Franz is a human male who is a member of the Green Claw Druid Circled
• Franz was infected by Dragon Rot but he used druidic magic to not turn into a Dragon Rot Thrall
• Franz began to hear the voice of the Great Mother in his mind which told him to create an army for her
• His goal was to make many an army of Dragon Rot Thralls and to build a Wicker Man

Backstory

• Franz was found deep in the woods by the Green Claw Druid Circled after his parents were killed by bandits.
• He grew up close friends with Kirshaw but where Kirshaw pursued healing magic Franz sought combat magic.
• He had an interest in the macabre and tended to research things that were generally frowned upon.
• When he turned 18 he found the group of bandits who killed his parents and slaughtered them by luring a pack of velociraptors to their camp
• He studied Dragon Rot and got infected by it.  He managed to use his knowledge of nature to prevent him from becoming a thrall but the rot twisted his mind and he began to hear voices.
• After being infected he left the Green Claw Druid Circled in search of power to eradicate industrial settlements.
• The voice in his head led him to a trent named Forenth who had also been infected by Dragon Rot ,  the trent had been captured by a lumber settlement and was being shown as an attraction.  Franz managed to free the Trent (Forenth) and bring him back to health.  Many townsfolk died in the process.

Army of Thralls

• With the help of Forenth he began raising many Dragon Rot Thralls.
• The voices in his head led him to Sonsiss Slowe. a Yuan-ti researcher who helped him develop a way to make his Dragon Rot Thralls even stronger.
• In exchange for this knowledge Franz was supposed to give Sonsiss Slowe the secrets of making a Wicker Man.

Current Status

• After the party defeated him Kirshaw and Sergeant Vickers brought him back to the Green Claw Druid Circled.
• From there he was detained and the Green Claw Druid Circled worked on a way to cure him and rehabilitate him.
