Seaton

Summary

  Seaton is the capital of the Kingdom of Keoland, and the largest city in the entirety of the Saltmarsh Region. It is home to roughly 8,000 denizens. It serves as the largest commerical trading hub in Keoland.  

Politics

  Seaton is home to the King Skotti, the monarch of Keoland whose authority is ultimate and unwavering. He is commander-in-chief of the Keoland Army and the ultimate bailiff for the city's guard. He does take advice from the Church of Pelor who resides near his palace behind the city's Royal Gates.

The Seaton Docks 

  The main naval entry and exit points for the city of Seaton. The docks are always bustling with activity, generally from the many imports and exports of the flourishing trading companies in Seaton.   A multitude of shops are set up here, which has a somewhat festive vibe to it. Most are selling imports directly.  

The Saltmarket

  The main center of everyday commerce for commoners in Seaton.  

Keoland Royal Palace

  The residence of King Skotti and the largest building in Seaton.  

Seaton Courthouse

  The ultimate pinnacle of lawfulness in Keoland, all major legal matters are handled in these beautifully polished halls.  

Pelor's Love

  Crafted by the Stonemason's Guild as a celebratory gift for King Skotti's victory over the Hold of the Sea Princes, Pelor's Love also stands as a symbol of love for the God of Light. This beacon has guided ships back to Seaton for decades and is beloved by the city.  

Church of Pelor

A church dedicated to Pelor, the God of Light. It has a small congregation and is quite selective in not only who is allowed to join their ranks, but also with who is allowed to visit the halls.  

Stonemasons' Guildhall

The largest guild for stoneworkers in the entire Saltmarsh Region. It has attracted by Dwarves far and wide, and is widely considered to be the main reason that the city is smiled upon by dwarves.  

Tiddlywinks

  The most popular tavern in Seaton. It is also rumored to be the oldest building in the city, existing long before the King Skotti ever came to power.  

Drallion Manor

The home of the noble and esteemed merchant, Aubreck Drallion.
