What are Saints of Power?
The Saints of Power are the strongest forces in the spirit realm. Some are the embodiment of a part of the world, known as a domain. Others become an ancestral Saint of Power from achieving great deeds in life, even being the spiritual protector of a group or family. The natural Saints of Power are capable of creating wonders. The saints are divided into the greater saints which embody the most important domains of nature/humanity. The lesser saints represent smaller ideas, while there is a greater saint of war there are lesser ones of the sword and the gun.
Saints are not gods, they do not want or accept worship. The greater saints may have some rules that their followers and vassals must follow, and the lesser may arrange business deals with mortal races.
Saints are most often the embodiment of something. They spawn into existence along with whatever they embody.
Artifacts and Shrines
Grand Artifacts are the personal possessions of greater saints with massive power. Many greater artifacts have some form of prerequisite for someone to meet before it can be used. They are way to valuable to be bought with money.
Lesser artifacts on the other hand have no prerequisites and are often gifts to powerful heroes or successful priests, kept in shrines as a show of its saint's power.
