Dueling

Execution

A duel is announced with a challenge and must be done in front of witnesses and with 'due necessity' normally due to some honor-bound slight against one. A duelist will need some preparation and including a will.
A duel is done with a single referee who supplies the weapon. Traditionally and in a formal context, these are performed with swords. While in the maritime and common class contexts classes they are done with guns.

Participants

The referee is important for a duel to be considered a legitimate duel and not senseless violence.
Seconds are used to step in, ideally, they stop a fight before it leads to death. Seconds will discuss the terms and conditions of a duel and keep things as civil as possible while still protecting their patron.
