How Cendites Raise Children After weaning but before a working-age children are generally left to their own devices and told to 'experience the world and themselves.' Children still gather in the late evening around the campfire with the elders to tell stories though, that's the only rule they need to follow as it promotes community.   Tamers/Peacemen Tamers are an essential part of how Cendrai communities keep safe. tamers is an outside term and are more likely to be referred to as 'peace men' they make deals and negotiate with the local wonders and spirits, giving offerings in exchange for power and protection. The form of exorcist known as spirit collectors has emerged from cults of peacemen   Agriculture Cendite agriculture mimics the natural environment, using the concept of the 'food forest' which after getting set up after 30 years, will last virtually forever. While this practice isn't restricted to Cendites it originates with them.

Garden Life Among Cendites, those who work in the gardens have no specific leader but instead have council meetings for every matter. They try to upkeep what is already there but don't put emphasis on what ancestors would have wanted.   The Nightly Bonfire Every night everyone in the village comes together and tells their stories, promoting their rich oral tradition. Most stories tell their history or folklore, and the young folks tell of their adventures and exploits.

Funerary and Memorial customs

Cendites have various funeral customs depending on the conditions of which someone died.   When a person kills themself their heart is removed and a pigeon is put in place so the deceased person can find their way again.   Cendites believe coffins are inhumane as it prevents their bodies from returning to to the earth.
