The Mana Core

Sitting at the center of Lore, the mana core is the source of all magical energy. All souls have ties to it, all magic originates from it, and all souls eventually return to it.

While the mana core may recycle and purify much magic that falls back into it, it does not rely on it. It seems to create magic all on it's own. The exact nature of how it works is unknown to most, except to the council of Neibolhiem, who have elected not to share what they know.
