Oh right! I should probably write down something about ourselves!

Ahem! My name is Loremaster Maya, here representing the Archivists! We are a globe spanning organization focused on recording and preserving history. We do our utmost to keep our interferance with history minimal, other then to share well known information about the world with any who would listen!

Public Agenda

As mentioned, We primarilly document historical knowledge, trying to be as thurough as possible. We also work to inform people about such information, so long as it is public knowledge.

But obviously, we tend to find and record information that people would rather be kept secret, and we respect that wish, so long as secrecy is still relevant. Not much point hiding a thing if everyone you wanted to hide it from is long dead! We make sure secrets are hidden for as long as the people hiding them want to, and we don't use information we've collected except if our heads aprove it for use in field documentation, like advanced magics or techniques, and only when nescessary. That's enough to keep most people freindly with us.

But some people occasionally try and steal secretys from us, but luckily we are very well equipped to deal with such occasions! Not only do we have a billion safety measures to ensure people can't force secret knowledge out of us, both on individual members and the main archives (good luck even finding it!), we also have techniques based on all we've recorded, including various forms of magic that the rest of the world isn't even aware of, like chronomancy! But we make sure we can only access them as and when nescessary.
