Eikons
In the world of lore, Mankind holds a special power, one alike to that in gods. The faith people hold in their hearts can create that which does not exist by will and belief alone. While often the arts of magic are the primary way for an individual to manifest this power, groups of people with a shared belief can do something far more.
They can create an Eikon.
Manifestation
Eikons can take a wide variety of shapes, forms, and abilities. Unintentionally summoned Eikons will often start in more non-physical ways, often manifesting as small works of magic and events, until their faith solidifies them into a real form. However, purposefully summoned Eikons, while uncommon, can manifest a full form almost instantly.[/p
Eikons passively draw magic from their surroundings and those who believe in them. Outside of extreme conditions, Eikons will only draw small amounts, barely impacting those affected, and with no harm to the local magic. However, purposefully summoned Eikons can, with some difficulty, be done with more.
Eikons and their creation are formed in similar ways as regular summoning magic, but there are some differences. Namely, Eikons are more persistant and independant then your average summon. Given enough time, an Eikon can even form their own fully independant soul, and thus survive even when faith in it has died out.
