Dragonsgrasp

Within the great mountain Dravir's Spine, lives the powerful City of Dragonsgrasp. This city of DragonLords has lasted for ages, formed of many who have bonded with dragonkind, and those they have bonded to. With draconic ritches and Draconic might, they have held strong no matter what has come their way.

Despite their raw power, what holds their position is not claw or coin, but in the loyatly and faith of their people. the people of Dragsvard work together to maintain the city. Whilst they lend troops and rescources to other nations, of all the great nations, Dragesvard is one that would survive on it's own the most easilly, if pressed.

Government

Officials in Dragesvard are elected from among the people, but often the Dragonlords with powerful dragons tend to hold office. This is not due to a matter of power, but rather that Dragons can sense the hearts of those they would bond to, and more powerful dragons can be more descicive in choosing their Dragonlord, selecting only the most trustworthy and responsible.

Defences

The mountain keep of Dragesvard is highly defensible, and the collection of dragons lend them a powerful advantage. Shouls outer lands be taken, citizens can be evacuated to the keep by either their own dragons or by the cities, and the reserves of resources as well as underground farming can turn any war into a battle of endurance that Dragesvard will always win.

Should the worst come to pass, special runes and enchanted stone can let the whole upper half of the mountain, and thus the keep itself, fly into the sky to be carried by dragons elsewhere until they can recover.

Assets

While the various dragons obviously mean they have reserves of resources, as dragons tend to accumulate, they tend not to draw on this resivior unless needed, a factor that has saved them multiple times.

Instead, their primary strength is powerful mercenaries, consistent flow of resources both for within and for trade, and trading magical reagents and artifacts.

Guilds and Factions

The city of Dragesvard is, unsurprisingly, avid followers of the Dragon Faith. Often they help maintain it's position, treating the Divine Dragons as respected Allies and helping their kingdoms gain a kickstart when needed

The city also is willing to lend a hand to the Guardians, given their historical closeness, and given that Primal Dragons tend to be amongst Dragsvard's leaders.
