Celestials
In the Beginning, When the dragon gods were born, entities were formed to help enact their will. As creations of Drahar'Hatir, the Celestials were designed to help mantain the forces of creation.
While the most powerful among them are extinct, lesser forms still persist, often working to maintain the forces of creation, as their creator lives out their mortal lives.
Basic Information
Biological Traits
Celestials are infinite wellsprings of magic, but how open the flow of magic depends on how high ranking the Celestial is. The lowest ranking can often only mantain persistent cantrip-like effects, but the highest among them can instnatly tap into more then even the most prestigious mages could ever hope to withstand.
Additional Information
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Celestials rarely visit the mortal plane, especially with how weakned they have become.
Civilization and Culture
Gender Ideals
Celestials, while not gendered, tend to pick something anyways. Not nescissarily conventional genders, but something.
Average Technological Level
Clestials and infernals, at their peak, created a form of magitech that bent the very laws of reality, working so closely with it in the first place. While some traces of that technology remains, none alive can replicate it.
History
Celestials were formed, along with infernals, shortly after the Twin Dragon gods formed. Under said gods, they flourished, obtaining capabilities unlike any in the realm. When the dragon gods choose to be mortal, they let Venat guide their actions, and saught to maintain their floureshing nature.
However, over time the disagreements between Celestials and Infernals reached a peak, and war broke out among the greatest of them. All the greater Celestials and Infernals were wiped out in this war, and without them, much that they had built fell to ruin.
Whilst Lesser Celestials have made peace with their Infernal kin, the effects of that war have left them far weaker as a whole.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Some Celestials like to dabble in mortality, and others, when their responsabilities are met, will fully commit to it, akin to their creator. Usually, these are the ones who are willing to form meaningful relationships with mankind, but on occasion those more within their divine roles can do so too. However, more common for them is to relate to other Celestials or sometimes Infernals.
