Ameterasu Somnus

The founder of Akiba, Ameterasu was searching for a home for her young dragon,until one night she chose to set up camp in an ancient forest, when she met a Fox spirit named Uzume Miko. She was upset as they were treading on sacred ground, but was surprised when Ameterasu simply asked if she knew a place that would be safe to stay instead. Uzume, suprised they did not fight like many intruders, directed them to a safe spot, but decided to stay and hang out. Upon learning of their quest to create a new kingdom, Uzume decides to host them on section of theri land, as she had grown fond of Ameterasu.

The two worked side by side, ensuring both Mortal and Yokai would be welcome and safe within their city, acting as ambassadors for each other. And over time, the two fell in love. Ameterasu took her wifes last name, and thus was the Miko royal family created.
