Vaser EW

A slightly more advanced type of EW weaponry, that is actually younger than Magnetic Acceleration Weaponry [MAW], not to mention Laser EW and rockets. Its output is... bigger than in Laser EWs, with equally strong ray causing circa 200 times more damage to target.
Only the most pitiful and background countries are incapable of constructing vaser weaponry. Aside from the heaviest Ground-To-Orbit cannons (and a single archeotech sniper rifle that can melt through modern tank armor) it has no usage outside of space battles, due to simply being too costly to use... and too damaging.
Vasers work by focusing and firing ultraviolet rays, which means it should theoretically be named Uvasers (Ultraviolet Amplification By Stimulated Emission of Radiation) but it is shortened to Vasers due to this name being simply easier to use. They tend to form main artillery weaponry aboard frigates, destroyers and light cruisers.
