Graser EW

Grasers can be considered an older brother of all man-made mainstream laser EWs... and also a mix between man-made weaponry and archeotech. It was already succesfully recreated, however not in a way that would make using it in battle feasible. Manmade grasers have massively increased power requirements (not to mention size) and are prone to selfdestructing.
Thus all grasers actually used in combat are archeotechs. While still being one of the most destructive weapon imaginable, with even most thermoset ceramics breaking under pressure of graser rays. They work by focusing and amplifying gamma rays... which makes them approximately 100 times stronger than raser rays of similar length and width. Which makes them two milion times stronger that lasers.
Only capital ships or planetary fortressess (in most cases built on uninhabited worlds) have reactors strong enough to power graser. In the former version it still requires shutting down most of systems (besides shields). On the other hand, it is more than capable of instakilling another capital ship with its shields down...
