Shadegrove

To anyone approaching the outskirts of the city, they are met with a white ivory wall and a strong magical barrier that protects the rest of the city in a dome. While all are welcome within the city of Shadegrove, it is those with knowledge in the arcane who benefit the most from here. From libraries and schooling, to magic shops and enchanters, Shadegrove is a magical city by the Order of Eon Tempus. Bright colors and designs adorn the magically crafted buildings. Intricate stone, metal, and gemstones can be seen every direction. Even the lower class ward holds a mystic beauty to its architecture.

People travel by foot, air, or magically drawn carts. The gorgeous gardens and flowers cause the entire city to have a pleasant floral scent. Children run around unsupervised with no fear due to the arcane eyes that scry on the entire city constantly. The architecture here takes a lot of inspiration from elvish design, with druidic points inlayed throughout. From small residences to grand spires, the city as a whole is definitely a sight to behold.
Much like the rest of Oldmere, Shadegrove is an eclectic mix of races and backgrounds, though many lean toward an affinity with the arcane. The city is under the leadership of the Order of Eon Tempus, a magic council and organization from Jadewyn. It is they who control and monitor all legal use and study of the arcane in the world.

The Stryobell School is an odd and eclectic mix of all things magic. They do not discriminate against any of the arts, including the dark. Though, the use of such magics are highly regulated under strict laws by the Order of Eon Tempus.

Eon Tempus Reserve

The Shadegrove branch is a smaller version of the large Eon Tempus Reserve in Jadewyn on the south continent. It is a large library filled with tombs of history and magic. Numerous scribes and monks work within.
