Pard, the Deity of Dark

The last of the thirteen deities to appear, Pard is a large black feline creature, capable of absorbing all light within its vicinity.
Pard is very “silky” in words and personality. The Deity of Darkness is as charismatic as he is dexterous, which is surprising. He tends to keep to himself up until he meets the one who would become his medium. The reason is so many have fled from him. His ability to absorb all light within his lair caused pure darkness. He, being a giant black feline creature, thoroughly enjoys and is able to thrive within it.
Many have said Pard never left his dark abyss, but there are some who would correctly assume otherwise. Though it was mostly at night that the black panther would appear. One of his favorite things to do was people watch. This may have stemmed from his sworn duty, which was to guard weary travelers while they traversed the Lucent Wetlands in the dead of night. His acolytes took up this work and have continued it to this day.
In life, Pard had a decent relationship with the other deities, especially his “other half” Qilin, the Deity of Light. The two were able to fully cancel one another’s powers out. The only place Qilin couldn’t illuminate was the Dark Abyss.
Pard, like his deity siblings, could take a humanoid form once he gained a medium. In his humanoid form, he took the form of a Drow?Elf?Tabaxi? with raven black hair and golden yellow eyes. His garbs were always black and roguish.
