Guru Vonak Bonecarver

A goliath born in the icy mountains of the larger Iceveil Island in the year 93, Vonak quickly grew into a strong warrior. While out with two younger warriors training, the group of three were attacked by a rogue frost troll, a clan they had no issues with in the past. However, this one had been removed from his clan and no longer held the agreement between them as valid. Vonak told the younger warriors and run, something the prideful goliaths are not known for. When they did not flee, the frost troll rushed them but Vonak cut him off and drew the attention and fury onto himself. He asked for strength to protect them from harm. The lightly falling snow almost immediately became a frightful blizzard as a form appeared before the young warriors, answering the goliath’s call. The deity of ice, Ijiraq stood with arms crossed. A shield to protect the young ones from harm so Vonak could focus on his battle. While the goliath barely won, he stood victorious over the frost troll. Turning his attention to the one now standing between him and the young warriors. Ijiraq commended Vonak for his strength and asked that the goliath join him. Vonak agreed, becoming the deity’s medium.
