One day short of his 79th birthday, the legendary King Alart who united the denizens of Audemar under his banner and expelled the forces of Chaos from their fair land, dies.   Despite his age, he continued to lead military campaigns into the mountains to the northeast of the Isle of Audemar, ever expanding Audemar's borders and spreading in Influence of Order. The exact nature of his death is debated - it's said that he took a wound during battle several days prior to his death, though why the power of the royal healers could not save him is unknown. Was it a particularly virulent infection? Poison? Or did the gods simply decide that the time had come to call the legendary King home?
