Seax

A seax is a kind of knife favored by the Midgardians. It consists of a large, single-edged blade with a broken back and a tang in the centerline of the blade, inserted into a hilt of wood or horn. Seaxes are worn horizontally inside a scabbard attached to a belt, with the edge of the blade upwards.
Twin seaxes, which they refer to as "fangs", are the favored weapons of the Ulfheðnar. The image of a loping wolf is carved into the wooden handle of each fang.
