Faith of the Obligate

The Faith of the Obligate is the primary religion among the peoples of Gondwara and there are followers in all four corners of the known world. It centers around the twelve gods and goddesses who created Gondwara and they go by various names in many tongues. The name is derived from the pact the gods formed after The Wound opened and the subsequent war. The Faith has waned in influence over the past two millennia, especially in Hebronia and Sowande. The weakening of the faith is largely due to the gods departing this world after the Disobedience.
The gods lord over several domains each, though it's believed a fair number of these 'domains' are only attributed to them by mortals. For example, Rorseen is often associated with fishing when it is solely the 'domain' of mortals. Though, being the god of the seas, it is easy to see why.
