Apatoth Salient

Apatoth is the unholy god of the undead and defiler of the resting. He doesn't derive pleasure from his actions, but nourishment; every act of desecration strengthens his connection to the physical world. To achieve his goals, he spawned forth numerous abominations such as Ghouls and Wights, among others. Apatoth is one of the greatest adversaries the people's of Jordfold, and indeed even their gods, have ever faced. He is one of the most powerful of the entities who came from the Wound as his domains of death and decay are as old as creation itself. It has been speculated by scholars throughout history that he is the closest thing to a 'leader' that the dark pantheon has. This is largely due to the fact that Apatoth has made the greatest strides in trying to subjugate the physical world.
