Invoke the blessing of the Blood Moon, temporarily empowering your other spells with blood magic. When you cast this spell as a bonus action, roll one of your hit dice. If you have more than one type of hit dice, such as from multiclassing, you may choose any available type of hit dice to roll. Your maximum hit points are reduced by the result until this spell ends. While concentrated on this spell, you gain a bonus to your spell attack rolls and spell save DC equal to your Constitution modifier. Additionally, the first time you hit a creature with a weapon or spell attack on each of your turns, that hit deals your choice of bonus fire or bonus radiant damage equal to one roll of the previously chosen hit dice.

When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you roll one additional hit dice per slot level above 2nd when determining the initial maximum hit point reduction and once per turn bonus damage.
