The research of verbs, synonyms and magic morphology is a core part of Linguomancy ; having been conceptualized, studied, created and refined to understand the language of the Flux.
They are employed in Wordsmithing with Nouns to create unique spells called Idioms. Verbs define how the noun is manifested inside an idiom.
Verbs are typically separated into three categories :
  • Verbs of Speech, defined by the Radical Verb "Speak". They express a transformation and release of the caster's Flux into a given energy.
  • Verbs of Shaping, defined by the Radical Verb "Shape". They express the manipulation of an already manifested energy. Verbs of Shaping can also be verbs of Speech ; in this case, the former definition is used.
  • Wild Verbs, unrefined or specialized verbs applicable only to a few set nouns. Most verbs were studied and refined to be applicable with any Noun ; wild verbs are the exception. As a result, depite some of them being able to be defined as a verb of Speech or Shaping, their unrefinement prevents them from being categorized as such.
