Wading (Pataugement)
Like wading through water, life's hard and slow.Wading (Pataugement in French) is an idiom smithed by merging the noun of Water with the verb Curse.
The caster hampers the target's movement by surrounding its limbs with water, forcing it to plod as they attempt to move. The target must succeed a Saving Throw or be affected by the idiom. At the start of its turn, the target's movement is reduced by half. Upcasting this idiom allows to target multiple entities.
