The caster becomes a shadow and enters a solid surface, being able to swim freely inside shades and darkness.   Maintaining the idiom allows the caster to stay longer in the shadows. Upcasting this idiom allows the caster to move even in zones of light and bring other entities with them.   The caster can bring consenting entities or ones it is grappling with them. They get released free outside of the shadow if the Grappled condition ends.   Entities in shadows like the caster or the entities it brings along cannot cast idioms and can only target similar creatures hiding as shadows.
SELF

Entities the caster wants to bring with them must be able to be touched.
