The Lords of Nih

The Lords of Nih are the group of nine greater demons that dwell on Lind. Each one has unique powers and armies of demons that serve them. Most of the Lords of Nih are still mysteriously sealed away on Lind, but some have been released by cults of demon followers allowing them to roam free causing mayhem in their wake.

Members

Targ, the Living Shadow, Nesh, the Witch King, Gund, Plague Bringer, Ilyh, Mistress of Pain, Frax, Dread Lord of Death, Vix, the Favored, Sath, First Blooded, Zomor, Hoarder of Bones, and Mallous, Soul Warden.

Structure

The Lords are broken up into three groups of three called gifts. Each gift is a reflection how they see the torment that they bring to mortals.

The first Gift is known as the gift of Life. It consists of the necromancer demon lords: Zomor, Frax, and Mallous. These three demons introduced necromancy to Lind, and disrupt the natural order of the cycle of life and death.
The demons that comprise the gift of Joy believe that they better the lives of mortals by introducing harmful conditions into their daily lives. Nesh, Gund, and Ilyh are the demons of joy.
Lastly, the demons of the gift of Truth are Targ, Sath, and Vix. These three demons believe that mortal lie to themselves and so they trick mortals into dire situations. The gift of Truth often operates using back handed deals or forcing unnatural situations upon them in order to further their schemes.
