Overview & Creation

Ambassador's are warriors that have devoted themselves to an organization. These men and women use their power and infulence on the battlefield to bring glory to their organization.


Class Features

Inspiring Standard

Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you create a standard or banner that is a special item. If you lose your standard or it is destroyed you can spend two hours during a long rest and 25 gold pieces creating another. In addition, when you take this feature you dedicate yourself to an organization, choose one of the following organizations, and you gain the following benefit.

Kingdom

Whenever you land the final blow on a creature you may immediately use your Declare Presence feature as a reaction. When you do so you also gain Advantage on your next Attack.

Church

When choosing this organizational type choose a Channel Divinity feature from the Cleric Class or Subclass. When you use your Declare Presence feature you may use your Bonus Action to use the chosen Channel Divinity feature. The Channel Divinity acts as normal but the maximum range is 15 feet. You must complete a long rest before using this feature again.

Faction

Allies affected by your Declare Presence feature their reaction to move up to half of their movement speed.

Declare Presence

Starting at 3rd level, as an Action you may plant your standard in an adjacent space. When you do choose a type of saving throw, all allies within 15 feet of your standard gain Advantage on the chosen saving throw type until the end of your next turn. As a bonus action you can pick you standard back up, this removes all current effects including the Advantage granted by this feature.

Warrior Scholar

Beginning at 7th level, choose either History, Religion, or Investigation. You gain proficiency in the chosen skill. In addition when you make a skill check involving the type of organization that you chose for your Inspiring Standard feature you gain advantage on the check.

Tempered Standard

At 10th level, your standard has drawn the attention of your faction and is more recognizable in the world. Choose one of the following types of standards and gain the corresponding effect.

Feared

Your standard strikes fear into the hearts of your enemies. When you use your Declare Presence feature choose a number of creatures within 15 feet of the standard. The chosen creatures make a Wisdom Saving throw, the saving throw DC is equal to 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Strength Modifier. Creatures who fail the saving throw are frightened until the end of your next turn. The source of the fear is your standard.

Respected

The mortal realm knows great respect for your standard. The range of your standards Declare Presence becomes 30 feet of range instead of 15 feet for all effects.

Devoted

Those who share great devotion to your standard pull even greater power from it. The Advantage on saving throws granted by your Declare Presence now lasts until your standard is pick up. Only creatures within the standard gain the benefit and exiting the area removes the effect.

Dedicated Standard

Beginning at 15th level, your standard gains greater support from the chosen organization. You gain an additional effect depending on the organization you chose for your Inspiring Standard feature.

Kingdom

Your standard has been fashioned into a mighty spear. Your standard gains the properties of a Spear weapon and you can use your Declare Presence to place your standard up to 20 feet from your position.

Church

Your standard is granted greater divine powers. You may use your Channel Divinity twice in between long rests.

Faction

Your faction has imbued your standard with protective magics. Allies affected by your Declare Presence feature may use their reaction to take the defend action.

Exemplar of the Cause

At 18th level, you're an exemplar for your organization. If your standard has been planted using your Declare Presence feature and you use your Action Surge feature you may choose a creature within the effect of your Declare Presence. The chosen creature moves behind you in the current turn order and takes their turn then. If they have already taken a turn they act as though they have not taken a turn this round. takes their turn then. If they have already take a turn they act as though they have not taken a turn this round.
