Yorichio (ヨリチオ YO-RI-CHI-O)
Yorichio is a tranquil and sophisticated district nestled amidst the bustling cityscape. Once under the dominion of the former Ueno Seiwa clan, this territory has undergone significant changes since the dissolution of the clan in 2013. Nowadays, it serves as a haven for loan sharks, becoming a focal point for large and small-scale disputes between authorities and those of questionable ethics.
Built by the renowned Enari Corporation, Yorichio stands as a testament to the aspirations and struggles of the common man. Its landscape is adorned with numerous houses and apartments, forming the heart of this peaceful enclave. While it features some offices and smaller establishments, such as shops and vendors, the district primarily embraces the warmth of residential living.
Over the years, Yorichio has maintained a low profile, avoiding the turmoil that often plagues the underworld. This quiet existence offers solace to its residents amidst the city’s chaos.
In 2020, Yorichio became an intriguing hub for ex-Tojo members, who discreetly found shelter under the protective umbrella of The Honest Living Association in Kamurocho, which started to operate alongside its subsidiary, Rakurai Security in Yorichio, under the watchful eye of Daigo Dojima.
Yorichio is also known for an old legend. In its shadowed streets, a legendary yokai called "Kage no Kyodaina" is said to have once roamed. This shape-shifting guardian wielded mastery over shadows to protect the innocent from evildoers, particularly the exploitative loan sharks. Even now, on moonlit nights, the enormous shadow is rumored to watch over the district, keeping its spirit alive.
