Freimut, The Font of Futures

Freimut is the Father of the Sovereign Host and husband to Gudrun.
He is patron of any who experiment and try new things, often called on by any wizards or artificers who have time to spare for such thoughts.
He is often pictured with a sardonic smile, in acceptance of the fact that those humans who most benefit from his favour are those who have the least inclination to send him much in the way of thanks or prayer.
He is called upon by those who are about to venture into the unknown and also by those who are about to have children.

Holidays

The first two days of the year, at the very beginning of Tauen are set aside, following directly on from the last two days of Bereift, the celebration changes into one of looking forward. It is traditional to attempt at least one new skill during this period, and it is seen as a good omen for the year to meet a new friend during this activity, whether or not you have an aptitude for the skill itself.
