Great Stag

In lieu of a missing culture, the wendigo of the Burning Lands tribe are filling gaps as they go, including titles. When it comes to the roll of leader, the name chosen for the chief regardless of gender. Great Stag may bring to mind more masculine overtones, but seeing as wendigo can change their gender at will, this is hardly begrudging of any female leaders. Alternatively more gender specific honoraries may be used as well when speaking to the Great Stag. These are respectively known as Hart and Hind. Hart refers to the roll of a male leader, while Hind is reserved for a female leader or matriarch. It started as a misnomer, as Hart sounds very much like heart, referencing the importance of having a leader.
