Enhanced Human

There are too many ways a regular human can become something more than human to readily categorize them as we do other species like werewolves and vampires. We have to contend with people who can control fire, the air, water, melt concrete on contact, create projections from their mind, warp reality, teleport, and so on.
As scientists, we can categorize their powers into groups, but that's often misleading. For the sake of simplicity, we call humans with abilities beyond the ordinary enhanced. They're more than human, but they are still human at the end of the day. Their genetics are more in line with the bulk of humanity than they are different.
