Damon is generally a calm and nearly laid back sort of guy. He certainly doesn't sweat the small stuff and only in the most extreme of situations can someone get under his skin enough to have him show anger. He comes off as a foreigner that's been living in the country for a while, and gives off an air of being very street smart, passive, and patient. Not much else is known. Damon is just your everyday human… with the ability to emit fire from his body.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Damon looks disheveled and in need of a nap nearly all the time. Dark circles line under his light blue eyes. It's clear his hair has been dyed black, and is kept in disarray in a rather short cut. Piercings line his ears, and he wears a necklace with a Cerberus pendant of three dog heads linked together. It's clear that if he had a normal life style, Damon would be quite tan. His skin is normally darker than most, but constantly sticking to indoors away from the sun has paled it to an odd dark ashen color. He frequents other regular street clothing, mostly dressing in dark colors or nearly all black with a flash of color or a break of all black through a colored tee shirt under his black zip up hoodie.

Damon is fit and looks ready to run a triathlon at the drop of a hat.

Damon's features are angled. He has a heart shaped face, with thick brows and lashes, and a thin nose.

Identifying Characteristics

Damon's heavily studded pierced ears give him a bit too much metal on his head to simply be forgotten easily.

Physical quirks

Damon needs to remember to show emotion. More often than not, he will forget to and have a perpetual look of boredom.

Special abilities

Fireball Damon can form a circular blast of fire that he can hurl at great distances with decent accuracy. Because they are not a blast of fire, their strength is limited. They can ignite other items.
Ignition Using any limb he wishes to, Damon can light fire to just about any surface. Brick, wood, stone, rubber. If it is flamable it will eat away at it on its own once lit. For non flammable items such as cement, only the small area around it will sustain a flame, generally for thirty minutes unless someone douses it with water.
Blast Furnace The area around Damon can become super heated. This works to great effect inside a confined space. Alternatively he can erect walls of flame to super-heat the interior. At any point so long as he takes care to not cause self-immolation, the area can explode into flames.
Flames Firing from any limb he wishes and to great control, Damon can send out a 15 ft. blast of fire like a flame thrower. They can range from normal to a brilliant light blue flame, capable of cremating people in minutes. However Damon is not fire resistant, and must take care to avoid getting burned.
Afterburn Damon can fire hot flames directly from his hands and feet for an extended time, but must be wearing protective gear at the time, or he will severely burn himself. Only reaching five feet max, these flames have far more of a propelling effect, letting him move a limb quicker than reflex away, give a propelled kick, or even hover on jets of fire. In very close combat, he can surely use them to severely burn others. He has been unable to use this til recently due to gear limitations.

Personal history

Damon came overseas from Greece as a young teen, sent by his parents so their son wouldn't have to be conscripted to the military, as by law in his old country. As a man with Turkish background, he never really fit in with his peers in Greece for their loathing of what the Turks have done to them. As a half blood, his family born of bastards marred by the invasion and war that left a mark on them by the Turks, Damon at first hated that side of his lineage. As his countrymen made him feel less and less welcomed due to something he had no control over, Damon flipped sides to fully embrace the corruption in his line, and ran with it. As it now donned as his armor, there were less ways that anyone could hurt him.
In America, this didn't mean shit. Damon's new slight against him was being an immigrant, and it was again a new armor set he donned to protect himself. Upon graduating high school, Damon rubbed his new American citizenship in anyone that made him feel unwelcomed, gladly casting away his Greek citizenship. He hasn't seen his parents since he moved. Being alone, and angry all the time, led Damon down some bad roads and making just as bad decisions. Damon worked meaningless jobs at random locations, an underachiever as he lacked any adversity to push back against. He almost instantly turned to crime to get his way through life, cultivating his Hellfire ability. Along the way he did have his girlfriend from high school still. At just nineteen, Damon became a father to his son; Koray Teke.
Life got brighter for Damon, if for all the wrong reasons. The flame user began funneling his own twisted thoughts and feelings of the world into his small impressionable son. When Koray showed the ability to produce fire as well, Damon showed pride. In fact, he saw a possible tutelage and partnering with his son. But Koray was too kindhearted thanks to his mother, who overall still had more time with him than Damon. As heroes showed, Damon displayed a growing violent resentment for the rising difficulty to lie and steal in order to support his family. The Hound especially, as he posed the largest threat. Damon began to turn violent on his girlfriend, and resentful. It hit its peak when his son proclaimed he was going to use his powers for good, granted he was only a five year old. It was still enough for Damon to abandon them, and from there turned to working with the face stealing villain Narsuss the Doppelganger.
Narsuss used Damon effectively as a living flamethrower. He was the leash of Dirge, the sibling of the Hound, making sure the feral wendigo was able to be controlled. It ultimately failed on a recovery mission to locate Jaiden Mori, the wendigo turning on Narsuss' men that were with him in order to protect the woman's location. Damon was not there at the attack, and thus unable to stop him.
Without a wendigo around, Narsuss saw no need for Damon to truly be kept. He set the villain up as the last man standing in the base location in an old series of mines outside a PA town. His goal was simple; wait for Rush's response, and burn them all. He had all intents pointing towards Damon going down with the ship, burning evidence and hopefully taking as many out as he could before controlled detonations could drop the place in on them. Damon was successful in destroying 98% of all the evidence and weakening the structure enough for the detonation to work, but failed in cremating the biggest affront, The Hound, due to the unexpected team work of Tesla to help the hero. Overwhelmed, Damon was taken into custody.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Damon won his first fight with the Hound with nothing more than a staged fire and a silver knife. Effectively it put the hero out of commission for a little over a week. He has effectively become a major fear of the Hound.

Intellectual Characteristics

Damon has a very residual grasp on emotions. The big three, happiness anger and sadness, are the three he can understand. Senses of guilt, fear, grief, and hesitation are confusing. He often forgets to show emotion on his face without trying.

Taboos

Damon has shown pride and delight in causing Lee's dog Mingan to be killed by a car after annoying and triggering the animal into a protective state of attack. He has explained that he intended to consume the dog in fire if it reached him. He has also tried to kill Lee's other dog, Larka, by locking her in his cabin when Damon set it on fire. It is clear he has a bit of joy in killing animals at the expense of someone else being hurt by it.
