Race society has often hated Selene almost as much as they've loved her. Her light brings out the feared side of lycanthropes, but it also provides power. However, the aspect of her that is most commonly experienced is her beauty.
Many druids (Circle of the Moon) meet under the full moon of Selene to share news and trade warnings. The gathering of many druids in one place under the full moonlight of Selene is thought to magically ward off potential eavesdroppers and enemies.
Selene is often associated with darkness and secrecy, due to the fact that Selene is not easily seen during most days. She is also sometimes associated with beauty, or beasts.
