Ostaq is sometimes depicted as an enraged, savage, middle-aged woman with a mouth grotesquely far open in a scream and long, blood-dripping hair. This depiction is thought to be a mingling of someone Ostaq used to be with Ostaq as she is now known.
Ostaq is depicted in varying forms, but blood and gore are very common in her depictions.
