Javh (Jay-Vʰ)

Javh is a tiny tree, or small shrub, that is adapted to survive in Lexicon's tundras.

Basic Information

Biological Traits

It is a tiny tree growing to only 15 centimetres in height. It has round, shiny black leaves 5–7 cm long and 8 cm broad; they are pubescent, with long, silky, black hair. The trunk for the tiny tree is extremely wide due to high gravity, being around and is an extremely dark grey in color, almost bordering on black. Jahv also possesses flowers, them beinng an extreemly deep color and sightly wide and bunched up into small clusters, around cm.
The leaves and flowers fold up in the night and only unfurl themselves during the twenty-seven day period when Roalas is in the sky. The time between flower to fruit or planting to harvest is very short, as it takes full advantage of the days in which Roalas is in the sky to fruit and to reproduce.
Like all of Lexiconian life, Javh also has the ability of charging , so it can support and nourish itself during the next twenty-seven days when Roal isn't in the sky.
Despite its small size, it is a long-lived plant, but grows rapidly.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

The wood and twigs are used as fuel. It is also used in cooking as woodchips for smoking meat, of which is the most common flavor. Also in cooking, it's eaten frequently as many parts of the plant are edible, but it tastes somewhat peppery.
The plant was also used for several medicinal purposes, such as relieving toothache, helping to stop bleeding, curing diarrhea and indigestion, and as a poultice on wounds.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Jahv is found scattered all over Lexicon's frigid and harsh tundras but is mostly concentrated in the valleys of the low mountain ranges and nearby the mountain ranges.
