Quirinus

The origin of this god is fused with the most mythical history of Rome. In olden times, before the birth of Rome, he was a god armed with a spear, and yet not a lover of war, rather an armed protector of peace. It is said that he took human form with the name Romulus and therefore that Rome's origin is divine, for it was founded by a god. When the great Romulus died, he was deified by his people and his human name fused once again with the divine name of Quirinus. From that moment on, this god represented our most ancient roots. Quirinus is a god of great power. He's the one that guarantees political stability to the Empire, and makes it prosper through the harmony of each of its social components. Without his help, there would be chaos and war. He represents the political power of Rome, the one that is established after conquest and that legitimates its just leadership.
