Verim Water Bag
Do you remember the sound of blowing bubbles through water? Do you remember how it sounds different in different cups and vessels? The Verim water bag is a long tube with 'flutes' along the length of the upper reed that pushes differing ammounts of water though a bag with a variable valve. The pressurised air pushes through the system bubbling out the bottom to form different sounding ressonances.
Deep in its notes, the gurgle pronounced through each note makes it distinct from many other 'woodwind' instruments, and those who play insist the constant squeezing of the bag to change the level in the upper chamber causes them to be mightily fit in the arms and shoulder. Players are also often required to play continuous type pieces if long playtimes are expected as that initial force to start the bubbling is quite challenging to get over.
