Tutors

Before entering the academies and higher learning institutions of Levis, the children of the community are tended to by one of the adults of their local grouping. 

Usually tending to between 5 and 10 youngsters of all ages, these tutorings teach the basic skills that each grouping needs.

Skilled tutors will layer lessons ontop each other, aware of the strengths and weaknesses of their students.

The students will generally have to pass an entrance interview to enter higher learning, and older students do partner their studies with ride alongs of careers they wish to pursue to ensure compatibility.  Most important in this tutorship is the balance between study and play. With most tutorings happening in the mid morning when the attention of their students is most high. Some tutors have tried afternoon classes, but quickly find that younger students tire and teen students grow a kind of hungry-bored. One of the more memorable tutors was the Nocturne Perse, the woman a tutor of 3 batches of students, several of whom even joined the Academy of Natare as historians.
