Gardeners
Across Levis there is no greater profession than the gardener, even if none will ever reach the prestige of the academics, the mages, the hunters and the trackers.
Gardeners are everywhere on the continent, tending to both buildings and green space alike. They assist in tending to the day to day on the solar cells. Their skills are used to teach the young to care for their own personal crops, and should a citizen of many of the settlements go through a tough spell, they are the ones who step up to either resupply the needy, or to revitalise the gardens of the people.
Often using Garden speak in methods of communication between peers, there is on average one gardener per 10 people in a community. Often lay-people with no magic, larger communities are assisted by a botanist mage or Botanical necromancer.
Gardeners in Natare all fall under the leadership of a head gardener who works out of a building behind town hall, and who answers only to the city council . The Gardeners of Natare even keep tending to the bridge between upper and lower cities, encouraging growth both up into a canopy and down into the river for nutrients - though care is placed to allow boat passage.
