Dance clubs
One of the hobbies in Levis at large are dance clubs. These are groups of people who collect together to learn and share and dance for each other. These clubs can divide their activities into three types.
- Lessons - if one of the members wishes to either learn a dance style they do not know, or if someone has been abroad and come back with a style the group is unaware of, often these groups will spend at least one session learning and adapting this new style - possibly incorperating steps from styles they already know. Unlike the reader's contemporary setting, dance 'styles' are more collections of moves to be used and the vibe of the dance style - rigid step routines are less of a hard and fast rule in Levis.- Free-form - the use of what the members know to have fun and embrace the community and nature of the gathering.
- contests - the competitive nature if the foliad, especially around Natare gies rise to frequent contests, usually for a prize put up by the last winner.
