Circuitbreaker bug

About the size of the average foliad fist, this bug is the answer to the question: what evolves as 'pest' in a magic society.

Extremely fast, the circuitbreaker is like a team of termites in a wooden town. Drawn to magic, but in the way that magic is the seasoning on the main meal of everything else, these creatures are omnivorous in that they will eat and can digest everything - including metals and plastics. Only a swiping of a particular sort of oil will repel the bug.

Defying logic, these bugs have been co-oped to hunt for magic, rather than being kept from cities and magic as a whole.

Their colouration is a deep blue making so them at least easy to see in the wild.
