Binding Fungus
All knowledge is eternal. Except that binding, youre going to have to compost that one.
When the night is full and the suns long set, and the moist air gets between the walls, even as you sweat the fungus is seeping into your bindings, ready to eat and eat and eat.
Watch as abandoned and infested libraries turn into forests of blue and purple mushrooms, their airbourne spores toxic, their hungry tendrils eagar for warmth, even if that warmth is inside you. Find long lost magic ruins and crack open that petrified door to reveal a canopy of woe, climbing and seeking that binding in your pocket. Maybe if you throw it inside the forest will let you go. The fungus is attracted to knowledge, keyly truthful knowledge though how it knows the difference is not a concept well researched in Levis. Some fictional books have been found to be half eaten. If ingested, the fungus induces extreme vomitting and uncontrolled itching.Transmission & Vectors
Conferred by airborne spores or contact.
Causes
Moisture and heat allow the spore to grow.
Symptoms
Tiny black spots start. Then the edge of the spot starts to bloom rich blue. The page starts to weaken as it is eaten, the mass converted into the stem of a mushroom like thing.
Greshire infestations turn purple, and circuit ink causes them to glow silver.
