Leviathan Solo

It is a matter of public record library data that on 030-1107 the merchant cruise Leviathan embarked on a trading voyage into the Out-Rim Void lasting some six months. Little is known of the events of the voyage outside of the Baraccai Technum trading cartel who owned and operated the vessel, and several attempts to access information regarding the voyage have been refused on the grounds that the information is classified.   What is little-known however is that on 001-1106 the Leviathan embarked on a prior voyage into the same region of the Out-Rim Void that it would return to the following year. The same region of space. The same ship. But not the same crew.   Not one of the crew of the 1106 mission served on the subsequent 1107 mission.   Why did the Baraccai Technum stage two almost identical missions into the same region of space? Why did the Baraccai Technum not mention this earlier venture to the crew of the 1107 mission? What could have happened during the 1106 mission that BT wish to forget or ignore?   (In order to discover what transpired on the 1106 mission, I will be playing out the voyage and resulting events using the Cepheus Engine, various Traveller sourcebooks (including Classic Adventure 4: Leviathan), and the SOLO rules by Paul Elliott for Zozer Games, and then recording events and game data here in world and campaign).
