Golden weights

This is a disease that is within Zyrreth.
The people that have the disease say that these spots and eventually marks feel very heavy and make it difficult to move. Though upon inspection the actual weight of the arm doesn't seem to have changed and with a high enough perceptive ability they will notice that it is actually lighter.
The disease will usually take about a year, before it becomes noticeable and another year before it becomes a problem. it usually first starts to infect the limbs and after that it goes to the torse making it difficult to breath and usually in the sleep of the creature the weight upon the heart becomes too much for it and can't pump anymore. Even though it is tough for the person to experience this disease and there doesn't appear to be a cure for it at the present time. The city itself also doesn't know the cause of the disease and it is seen as either something that person did and to some people think it is just luck.

Causes

The disease is caused by the water within the city. Even though mostly it is just as regular water and is healthy and clean however for some in an older stage of their life their bodies will form spots of golden coloured skin. The disease is easier to take hold upon those who naturally have a low resistance against other diseases and as they get older they can't handle the magical residue that resides within the water.

Treatment

The people of Zyrreth don't really look into it because some believe it is part of karma and some just call it bad luck.
