Snowtreader

Monks from the snowtreader tradition spend much of their time high in reclusive mountain enclaves, training their minds and bodies. In search of enlightenment, amongst other things, they train endlessly to meet a standard of perfection only they can articulate.
Snowtreaders take their name from one of the first techniques they learn, the ability to walk across freshly fallen snow without leaving tracks or disturbing the surface.
Unlike many adventurers, Snowtreader monks tend to be more concerned with acquiring knowledge, wisdom or skill than interested in money (though they recognize money can sometimes be traded for those things). They view their time outside the monastery as an extended training exercise, and strive to avoid emotional attachment to anything in the "outside world" that could impede their return to their order once they've finished their journey.
